HI I'm Jenny Hawke and I am an artist living and working in Surrey. I am love colour and creativity and am passionate about getting my art out into churches and the wider world. I also love showing others how to develop their own creativity through my Creative Art Workshops.
Life is so full of colour and light, and to be able express not only what you see outside of yourself, but also to paint what is inside is a wonderful thing.
My dream is to see more and more churches with artists painting during their sunday service, expressing what they see God doing.
Art can and should be an exciting and integral part of life.
Some time ago I decided to use my original paintings as gift cards and as high quality prints, making the images more accessible to people. The cards and prints are for sale on line, as well as in three major bookshops in the greater London area.

I began painting about 12 years ago, learning from my father, well known artist and author Eddie Askew. His style of painting shows freedom and simplicity, using colour and line in such an original way . He gave me so much encouragement that I will always be grateful, and he continues to be my inspiration as I develop my own style.
I have come to love the unpredictability of watercolour, waiting as the pigments run into and mix with each other, never quite sure of where they will go.
The paintings in these galleries all have a story behind them, as all paintings do. Take time looking at them and see what you see, let the images speak to you. Enjoy.
All of the paintings are available for sale, and many of the images are in greeting card form and may also be available as prints of varying size. I have also included cards using ny father's paintings in gallery 6).
